Humpback Whale Pod

The humpback whales comes to Hawaii every winter to give birth and to make babies.

I have been fortunate enough to swim with them many times. This is when you realize how big and magnificent they truly are. They also travel in pods and in order to play and protect themselves. They don’t eat very much while they’re here in Hawaii.

It is said that a mother can produce up to 55 gallons of a yogurt type milk to feed her child every day. We are so blessed to have them in our world.
